In landscape mode I can see the entire table. Right now on iPad I am ranked #23 on pinball arcade with 10,819 hall of fame points. It just plays better for me to play wide way on iPad then long way on iPad, just a thought on how others play pinball arcade. The cabinet is great maybe in future could make something for us who play it a different. I am creating a pinball arcade cocktail table with a 32' HD Samsung led monitor and mac mini in which soon hope to hook up arcade buttons using a macipac. I wish Zen 2 Pinball offered a cabinet view as have some cool games and the lighting and gameplay is better than PA.

  • The best thing to do is to have the Future Pinball backglass and Arcade Mode settings disabled for PinEvent tables only (see the FUTURE PINBALL BACKGLASS section) it’s also important to be sure you are using the “correct” PuP-Pack option for your cabinet’s setup and screens!
  • As a result I have to reconfigure everything. I've gotten to a point where I can manually open Medieval Madness on FX3 in cabinet mode and play it, but I still have borders on the edge of the playfield window. I also can't seem to get pinball y to work even a little bit properly using pinball y.
  • Hi, i want to ask if anyone could make it work with cabinet mode on the Stern Tables, all the rest of the tables works good with cabinet mode except for banzai run i think, but the stern tables launch on cabinet mode but the backglass is black, if i activate the 3rd screen i can use the dmd but the backglass is still black on those tables.

FarSight has been working on custom software with Arcooda, makers of video pinball cabinets. This is the cabinet mode many have been clamoring for, but it's no mere camera angle port. Unfortunately the announcement of the loss of the WMS license has put a huge kink in Arcooda's plans, mainly that the entirety of the TPA catalog wasn't finished in time as well as the fact there's the very shortened window this will be available until.

The good news is that Arcooda is no longer making this exclusive to their cabinet. You can buy the standalone, offline version of the software for play on any cabinet. The bad news is this is only available until June 30th, and it doesn't come cheap. If you already own the Steam version of the game, you'll only be paying for the Arcooda key. I believe this will be $149. You can also purchase the offline Pro Mode version that includes the entirety of TPA plus the Arcooda key for $499, for those that haven't purchased any of the game yet. Advantage here is it doesn't require a FarSight login. I'm not 100% on these prices as I can't verify what I heard, check with Arcooda first.
